BRANSFORDS BARRA BUSTER PROMOTION…2009…….& BARRA WEIGH IN COMPETITION RESULTS.

BARRA WEIGH IN COMP.

Both winners take home an ABU REVO PRM low profile baitcasting reel…one of the finest barra reels ever made.

• Ethan Owen…..4 years old who caught, by himself, on lure a 3.5 kilo Barra off Machans Beach.
• Zac Carr…who weighed in a huge 16.5 kilo Barra taken from Palm Cove Jetty taken on live pike .

There were over 7,000 entries for the Prize Draw…..and a total of 34 fish weighed in for the Barra weigh in competition. Many thanks to all those who entered and our congratulations to the lucky winners.

Over $6,000-00 was handed out in prizes….and all prizes have been claimed.

Four Year old Ethan Owen is a champion angler….and a great kid too! His dad takes him fishing almost every day and it’s amazing how many, and how often Ethan catches good sizes fish. He likes bait fishing but much prefers casting a lure….and yes he does this all by himself. Surely a fishing legend in the making!	Teenage barra fisherman Zac Carr loves to spend time fishing from Palm Cove Jetty, and has taken home some prize captures over the past few months. His 16.5 kilo barra was caught using a live pike and it gave him the fight of his life. It’s not easy to negotiate timber pylons when a metre plus barra is in full flight but Zac managed to subdue his fish and wins an ABU REVO PRM baitcasting reel.
