Reef Fishing Day Charters

This style of fishing is not for every one but gives the angler the best possible chance to catch these superb fighting and tasty fish.

Share charters generally run daily, depending on prevailing weather conditions, and depart Cairns (Marlin Marina) and Port Douglas (Marina Mirage) at approximately 7.00am and returning approximately 5.00pm.

All tackle and bait is supplied but charters vary with their light refreshment, morning and afternoon tea and lunch inclusions, prices start from $180 per person.

Various operators will also provide light sportsfishing tackle, spinning rods and reels, and will allow their use depending on passenger numbers and target species availability.

Group bookings are also very popular and sole charter rates are available, a great way to bond with your mates, business associates or family members, and return with some fine eating fish for the barbie.

From $195 per person + $5 per person Reef Tax.

• Includes light refreshments, tea, coffee, soft drink, water.
• Some operators include pick up from accommodation (conditions apply)
• Fish are cleaned, gilled and gutted and kept whole on ice or in cooler.
• Not included: alcohol, lunch (which can be easily purchased prior to boarding)
• All rates quoted are in Australian Dollars and include 10% GST
