From prime salt water barramundi from the rocks, monster GT's and golden trevally from the wrecks, queenfish and trevally, to tuna, barracuda and spanish mackerel, Eco Sportfisher will connect you with what fish dreams are made of.

ECO Sportfisher vessel All quality Penn Spinfisher outfits are used, loaded with 6 & 8 Kg line for real sporting action, while on occasions when conditions are right, a trip to the 15 km wide grounds necessitates moving up to 10 kg gear - frightening isn't it!

Fly fisherman are encouraged to bring along their favourite outfits, # 8 / 9 wt outfits are perfect for our target species, back up equipment is available. "We encourage catch & release"

Barracuda Half Day

Commencing with transfers from your Cairns and northern Beach's accommodation for the short ride to Yorkeys Knob boat ramp. It's a close hop to the inshore Double Island group, the Barron River estuary or rocky headlands of the northern beaches, prime barra holding territory.

  • All quality tackle provided
  • Light refreshments.
  • Departures from 7.30 am and 1.30 pm
  • Return approx. four and a half hours later.
  • One to two anglers, personalized service guaranteed

Full Day:

GT Commencing with transfers from your accommodation to the local boat ramp for offshore charters (conditions permitting).

Fishing can include the inshore bill fish grounds up to 15 km out, Great Barrier Reef bommies, some interesting wrecks off Green & Fitzroy Islands, Rocky Headlands and Trinity Inlet.

OR for calm water full day river charters, transfer to one of the pristine tropical rivers within easy reach of the City. All quality tackle provided

  • Lunch and light refreshments
  • Departs 7.30 am
  • Returns approx. 5.00pm calm water or 4.00pm blue water
  • One to two anglers, personalized service guaranteed
