If you want to spend a day on the reef chasing balls of muscle that cook up a treat, then call us now to arrange a trip you’ll never forget.
Fishing Cairns offer you a range of quality options to head to the reef to land the “Big One”. Targeting prime eating fish such as Coral Trout, Red Emperor, Sweet Lip and Nannygai. You may also drift a ganged pillie (small baitfish) for Spanish Mackerel, a great light tackle sportfish and excellent on the chew as well .
Come fishing on-board Cairns premier charter boats with locally operated fishing charter business’ based at The Marlin Marina, Cairns, and throughout beautiful Far North Queensland.
We take pride in giving our passengers an enjoyable, reef and deep sea fishing charter experience aboard our comfortable, fully equipped, purpose built fishing vessels.
A variety of fishing methods and equipment are used including trolling, live bait fishing, bottom fishing and drift fishing.
What to Know
- Most operators include all tackle and bait, cold drinks, water & buffet lunches.
- Enjoy motel pickup with some charters, or make your own way to the local wharf or jetty.
- Private Charters/ Groups, and Night Fishing also available.
- Bring a good hat, sun protection, a good pair of polarised sunglasses is also a must to enjoy the environment.

- Fish can be cleaned, gilled and gutted and kept whole on ice or in cooler.
- All rates quoted are in Australian Dollars and include 10% GST
